That your health, not just physically, but even your mental health is not at the mercy of a complex healthcare system that is overpriced and more times than none, ineffective. 

 

Furthermore, although you’ve tried in the past to gather your will to protect and better your health, but ultimately lacked consistency and gave in to an overabundance of doubt…

 

There still is hope.

 

Clearly, just like everything else in our lives that strive to capture our attention, time, and dollars, thus the healthcare system has followed suit.

 

It’s a business.

A very lucrative one.

 

And you must not fall into the trap of having instant gratification when it comes to wellbeing as if your health was a video on your Instagram acquiring likes.

 

Let’s get rid of the dependency that people have placed on external sources such as the government and the healthcare system. 

 

Additionally, negate the fact that people hang onto doctor’s words and recommendations as if they were Jesus Christ himself talking. 

 

We’ve forgotten the power that naturally resides in all of us. 

We have fallen short in remembering that love heals.

 

And we’ve neglected simple statements such as …

 

 

Laughter is the best medicine.

 

And 

 

Food can be the most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison. 

Apparently, we let diet, exercise, and stress control be just a quick thought and mention right before we convince ourselves that we do need that medication. 

 

Well, that stops here.

That stops now.

 

You are your own healthcare system.

 

And

 

You are your own healthcare provider. 

 

Besides that, no one knows your body and your mind better than you do. 

 

Your body speaks to you in ways that only you can comprehend and understand. 

 

Therefore, don’t overcomplicate this. This thing we know as healthcare.

 

 

You have the power to be the sole proprietor of your health. 

 

And most of all, I know you have the desire to be in control of your health.

 

Because who wants their health to be at the mercy of someone else?

No one. 

 

Unquestionably, we all want to be in control of our lives, and our health is a major part of that, if not the central part. 

 

I’m going to be reminding you of the basics. 

 

The fundamentals of wellness and informing you about just how impactful these basics are. 

 

Simple but powerful.

 

Remember what I said, don’t complicate this. 

 

Notably, you can have control over your health, now.

Receive it. 

1. Eat Clean Sis

 

Get it as close to nature as possible.

 

Make it pure. 

 

Obviously, that means no added chemicals and no processing. 

 

The simpler the food, the more natural the food, the easier it is to digest. 

 

One of the busiest places in the hospital is Endoscopy. 

 

This is where people who are having problems with their stomach get “scoped” or have a tube (with a camera) placed down their throat or up their anus to look inside the intestines. 

 

Trust me, there are more than 60 million people in the US alone that have some form of gastrointestinal disease.

Water helps the body to perform so many functions.

 

  • Helps carry nutrients and oxygen to the rest of your body, most importantly your brain.
  • Helps regulate blood pressure and heart rate.
  • Protects your spinal cord and your tissues and organs.
  • It aids digestion and helps get rid of waste in your body.

 

In addition to that, your heart and brain are 75% water. Your lungs are 80% water.

 

It is absolutely essential that you not only eat clean but drink enough water.

 

Food was never made for enjoyment but for nutrition, remember that.

2. Sleep Is for Winners

 

Acknowledge that sleep is essential to your health.

 

⅓  of Americans do not get enough sleep. 

 

Sacrificing sleep for your goals is a dangerous thing. 

 

And I’m going to tell you why.

 

While you sleep, your body is repairing and restoring itself.

  1. Your heart and your blood vessels are able to come to a state of rest, causing your heart and blood pressure to drop dramatically.

Furthermore, when you attach your thoughts to your emotions, they’re even more powerful. 

 

I’m sure you’ve heard about the mind-body connection.

It’s real.

 

For instance, just think about the placebo effect.

 

Where one person takes a medical treatment while the other receives counterfeit treatment, but both still have positive results. 

 

It’s the power of expectation.

 

The power of your mind.
