Take back your power and be extraordinary with these 10 uplifting quotes.

Tap into that person that dwells deep within you that can do all things through Christ that strengthens you.

Develop a fresh perspective on yourself and your life. You deserve to be celebrated but you must start your own celebration.

Don’t let doubt, nor judgment, nor fear of being and expressing who you truly are stop you.

These 10 Inspirational Quotes will allow you to develop a new mindset of…

  • “I am enough”
  • “I am beautiful”
  • “What you think of me is none of my business”
  • “I don’t need anyone’s approval”
  • “I’m gonna serve the world the best version of me regardless”
  • “It’s not about what others say, I care about what God says”
  • “It’s not about what others think, what does God think”

So let’s dive in . . .

1. “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgement and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]”

2 Timothy 1:7 | Amplified Version

So this first quote has been like a staple to me, my bread and butter, or better yet my rice and stew if you know what I’m saying. This one quote tells you so much that you need to know about yourself.

Equally, it kills doubt, fear, depression, laziness, hatred, and so much more all in one punch. In plain English we learn what The Creator has placed within us!

Power. Love. Sound Judgement.

That means speak up and be seen because what you have to say is important. You can never be labeled a fool because God has given you a sound mind.

Additionally, personal discipline. I have to remind myself of this always. Be steadfast. Don’t procrastinate. Start seeing yourself in this light.

Without a doubt, start believing that you’re made in the image and likeness of The Creator and He has given you the same characteristics that embody who He is.

2. “Stop, Stop, Stop wanting to be somebody else. Do not insult your Creator by insulting His creation.”

TD Jakes

Stop believing you’re not enough. Quit believing you’re not beautiful.

Stop believing that you can’t live without someone else in your life while making your whole world revolve around other people and their opinions. It’s an insult to The Creator.

Every negative thought that comes to your mind is a lie because it’s not from God.

In fact, not only are you The Creator’s sacred possession, so are his other children, so you better be careful how you talk about and treat other people.

3. “Somewhere in the process of being born, we came to expect people to do for us what God has already done for us – give us life and love, with no strings attached. Somehow somewhere we learned to expect from people what we can actually only get from God.”

Iyanla Vanzant

Well isn’t this just a powerful message? Mmmmmmmmm.

It’s all about looking for love and validation all in the wrong places. Trying to love others when you don’t even love yourself.

For example, it’s like jumping from relationship to relationship and never truly being satisfied because your partner can never fulfill the vacancy that is RESERVED for God.

See God loves unconditionally. He has a perfect love that when experienced, teaches you how to properly love others as well, no strings attached.

10 inspirational quotes to inspire and empower you

4. “It’s all about falling in love with yourself and sharing that love with someone who appreciates you. Rather than looking for love to compensate for a self-love deficit.”

Eartha Kitt

Find God. You are a reflection of His image and likeness. God is love. Then find yourself and learn to love yourself, flaws and all, past, regrets, disappointments, and mistakes.

This all makes up who you are. Be at peace with not only your strengths but your weaknesses. Have compassion for yourself.

5. “Beauty looks like encouragement, patience, acceptance, forgiveness, carefulness and compassion. Beauty is spiritual and physical.”

Erykah Badu

True beauty is on the inside baby. You can be the prettiest thing in the room but with a bad attitude who wants to be around you?

Alternatively, Beauty shows in character. Beauty is in your heart posture, in the way you treat others.

Equally, true beauty is developed. It’s not just skin deep but it’s in the heart, the soul, and the mind.

6. “Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.”

Albert Einstein

I just had to throw this in here so you know you’re not alone! I’m sure there have been many times when someone comes in your presence, (even at your job) and it’s like your spirit is at war.

Indeed, their way of thinking, how they talk, how you see them treat others, their lack of understanding and respect just makes your spirit uneasy.

In fact, it’s not that you can’t handle them, but you would choose not to be around negativity if you could. This is a sign that you are different, you’re not ordinary.

Alternatively, when met with opposition and negativity, serve your spirit to the world, your true self. Your spirit is your power.  Light will always outshine the darkness.

7. “You can’t eat beauty, it doesn’t sustain you. What is fundamentally beautiful is compassion, for yourself and those around you. That kind of beauty inflames the heart and enchants the soul.”

Lupita Nyong

Those who are wise know true beauty when they see it. It’s past the flesh, the makeup, the tight jeans, the short skirts. It surpasses vanity.

Likewise, true beauty captures the heart and minds of people instead of just the eyes of men.

As a result, Inner Beauty can be felt and is more valuable than outer beauty could ever be. It accomplishes more than what vanity can even imagine.

8. “Even if it makes others uncomfortable I will love who I am.”

Janelle Monae

Learn to step out of your comfort zone. This is where self-love starts. This is where you stop caring about what people are going to say or think and start living and loving intentionally.

Honestly speaking between me and you … you can not under any circumstances apologize for who you are because you didn’t create you. The Ultimate Creator himself doesn’t make mistakes.

Besides, if anyone has a problem with you, how you look, or how you naturally express yourself, they need to take that up with God. That doesn’t concern you.

9. “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness. That most frightens us.

We ask ourselves. Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small

Does not serve the world.

There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking

So that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine,

As children do.

We were born to make manifest

The glory of God that is within us.

It’s not just in some of us;

It’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,

We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we’re liberated from our own fear,

Our presence automatically liberates others.”

Marianne Williamson

This just gives me life yaw. I know this is a very well-known quote but it’s forever relevant and it should truly be meditated on and revisited because it’s the absolute truth.

And absolute truth is power. You are more than enough because you’re a child of the most High God. Once you know that you know you’re capable of anything.

But it’s the things we’ve learned that hold back our true potential. It’s what society has told us, it’s the picture that we paint of ourselves that needs to be destroyed in order for us to be truly liberated.

10. God’s love sets us free from the need to seek approval.

Knowing that we are loved by God, accepted by God, approved by God, and that we are new creations in Christ empowers us to reject self-rejection and embrace a healthy self-love.

Myles Munroe

No approval needed from anyone. God has the final say.

To clarify, be unstoppable, and lean into who you truly are at the core. Tap into that power that The Creator has given each and every one of us and live intentionally with no apologies.

Remember the best health-care is self-care. Take back your power.
